MedDex Support
MedDex is a medical education platform operated by MedDex EdTech Venture. This page covers the most common questions. If it does not answer yours, email us and a member of the team will reply.
Contact support
Email meddexedtech@gmail.com. To help us answer quickly, include:
- the email address you use to sign in to MedDex;
- whether you use MedDex on the web, Android or iOS;
- what you were doing and the exact message you saw, plus a screenshot if you can.
Never send passwords, access tokens or payment card numbers by email. We will never ask for them.
Canva
MedDex can create presentations in your own Canva account. MedDex only acts when you ask it to, and only in the Canva account you connect.
Connect Canva
- Sign in at meddex.my.
- Select Open menu (top left), then Connected Apps.
- On the Canva card, select Connect Canva and approve the request in Canva.
The Canva card then shows the connected account. If your browser blocks the pop-up, MedDex opens Canva in the same tab instead.
Create a presentation
In the MedDex chat, ask for one, for example: Create a Canva presentation on heart failure. MedDex drafts the slides, imports them into your Canva account as an editable presentation and shows an Open in Canva button.
Return to MedDex from Canva
When you open a design from MedDex, the Canva editor shows a Return to MedDex button. It brings you back to the Canva workspace in MedDex, where you can pick from your recent designs, open one again with Edit in Canva, and upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP illustration (up to 3 MB) to your Canva uploads.
Disconnect Canva
Open Connected Apps and select Disconnect on the Canva card. MedDex asks Canva to revoke its access and deletes the stored access tokens. Your designs stay in your Canva account. You can also remove MedDex from your Canva account settings at any time.
Troubleshooting
- “Link expired”: the authorisation link is valid for 10 minutes and works once. Start again from Connected Apps.
- “Reconnect Canva”: Canva access has expired or was revoked. Select Reconnect on the Canva card.
- “Canva is busy”: Canva is limiting requests. Wait a minute, then try again.
- The presentation opened without content: open it again from the link in MedDex chat. If it is still empty, email us with the presentation title.
Google Workspace
Connect Google from Connected Apps in the same way to let MedDex create Docs and Slides, find Drive files, draft Gmail messages and add Calendar events when you ask. Disconnect from the same card at any time.
Account and data
- Delete your account and data: meddex.my/delete-account.
- How we handle data, including connected apps: Privacy Policy.
- Rules for using MedDex: Terms of Service.
Subscriptions and billing
See the Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. Subscriptions bought through Google Play or the App Store are managed in that store.
MedDex Pro on iPhone and iPad
- Subscribe: in the MedDex app, sign in, then select Upgrade to MedDex Pro (Profile, or any Pro feature). Payment is through your Apple ID. MedDex Pro is linked to the MedDex account you were signed in to, so it also unlocks Pro on the web and Android.
- Restore: on a new device or after reinstalling, sign in to the same MedDex account and select Restore Purchases in Profile.
- Cancel: Profile › Manage Subscription in MedDex, or Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- “Linked to another MedDex account”: an App Store subscription belongs to one MedDex account. Sign in with the account you subscribed with, or email us and we will help.
